The oeuvre of Màrius Krmpotic' may be characterized by the difficulty we face when we try to classify it inside the present artistic panorama. The artist uses his own photographies as a base and through a digital process gives them a pictorial finish that will be printed on linen with a series of long-lasting inks. Later on, he applies outlines of acrylic paint to each piece individually, thus giving them a unique result even when he is producing a limited series, in which case all pieces will be signed and numbered on their back.
